FDA Certification for ChopTainer Granted. Manufacturing Begins.

Dearest ChopTainer Backers,

Happy December! Hope you are getting in your holiday spirits and enjoying one of the most fun time of the year.

We are pleased to share that the production grade ChopTainer samples have passed all necessary FDA tests and have now obtained official FDA (food-grade) compliance certificate. We have started production and we will provide regular updates on where we are and when the ChopTainer shipment leaves China, which is supposed to happen this month.

Manufacturing Begins Soon + Turning In Reward Surveys

Dear Backers,

Molds are Ready and Polished, Injection Molding to Begin

We are in the process of sending the final ChopTainer samples to a certified lab for formal FDA testing this week. Our factory will also be flipping the switch to start manufacturing the ChopTainers any day now. 

We will keep you posted on how the manufacturing is progressing and estimated completion and ship dates.

Reward Surveys

We would like to thank all our backers for completing their reward surveys. This timely completion greatly helps us in preparing for the fulfillment of all orders. We still have around 40 backers who have not turned in their surveys yet. We extended the "lockdown date" to tomorrow (Nov 17), so please get online and complete them if you haven't already. It should not take more than 2 minutes to confirm your pledge, fill in your address details, and pay for shipping (international backers who forgot to pay for shipping). There is also optional add-ons you can choose to add to your existing pledges.

Good News! Final ChopTainer Samples Received...And They Look Awesome!

Dear ChopTainer-ers : )

We just received the latest ChopTainer samples in its complete no-hassle retail packaging. We are just too ecstatic to see the quality of the samples. Our factory has incorporated all our input and fixed any issues there were from the previous samples. The product also has the final finish - matte finish on the outside and smooth on the inside. 

We really dig it!

We just noticed one mistake on the packaging. Looks like we were half asleep when we were proof-reading the text. The word "Dishwasher" has been spelled wrong (it says "Dishawasher"). But that is a very minor change on the artwork file and will be fixed right away.

It looks like we might give the green light to the factory to start production pretty soon here. We will keep you posted!

ChopTainer Rewards Fulfillment Surveys Going Out Soon

Dear Backers,

As we get closer to production, its time we talk about surveys to get the necessary information from you pertaining to fulfilling your rewards. We will be using a 3rd party company called BackerKit to send out our survey. This will be sent out in the coming days. We will send you another update before we send the BackerKit survey so you can be on the lookout for it. Once you get the surveys, please fill it up and return as soon you can. This will help us tremendously in fulfilling your rewards in a timely and efficient manner.

The good thing is you do not need to create a separate login to fill out your BackerKit survey. BackerSkit survey will help you put in your latest address, add shipping (if you live outside the U.S. and you forgot to include shipping in your pledge), and will even let you select add-ons if you so wish.

ChopTainer Packaging Update

Dear Backers,

We are excited to share the first packaging sample pictures for the Set of 3 ChopTainers. This will give you an inside look of what's going on behind the scenes. They say Packaging can make it or break it in a retail store, and tells a lot about the company. We are leaving no stone unturned to make sure our packaging is excellent as well. There are a few minor improvement and changes we need to make, like realigning pictures, etc. but everything looks pretty good so far.
