ChopTainers Will Arrive Any Day Now

Dear ChopTainer Backers,

Receiving ChopTainers

Our freight forwarder has informed us that the cargo ship with our container on it will be docking at Port of Long Beach, California any day now. How fast do we get it in our warehouse depends on how long it takes for them to get to our container while unloading the ship, and most importantly, the time it takes to clear U.S. Customs. It seems like we might actually be hitting our original target ship date of Feb 2016 after all and won't be able to ship it earlier, as had anticipated. But we believe things have gone smooth so far and we keep our fingers crossed that they will for the tail end (and the most important part) of the project - Receiving and Shipping the rewards to our backers.

Shipping Snug Utensil Clips

As mentioned in our previous update, all Snugs have been shipped to U.S. backers who opted for them as part of their rewards. By now, all of these backers should have received their Snugs. International backers will receive their Snugs along with the ChopTainers (in one package).

Request for Amazon Reviews

We need a huge favor from everyone who have received the Snugs, or will be receiving them soon. If it is not a big deal, could you please leave your honest review about the Snugs on our Amazon product page for the Snugs. You can even mention in your review that you received the Snugs by supporting our Kickstarter project and that you actually paid for it, so readers don't think these are partial reviews.

Reviews (higher stars the better : ) ) greatly help with the Amazon ranking of our product and leads to more exposure of the product to buyers.

Another Great Use For Snugs

As we recently found, Snugs make a great tea bag holder. See picture below. So no more tea bag handle making its way into your tea again : )

All Domestic Snugs Have Been Shipped

Happy New Year Everyone!

This is just to inform you that we have shipped a part of the reward, Snug Utensil Clips to all the domestic (shipping address with the U.S.) backers who opted for reward categories with Snugs in them. The last batch went out on January 2. This was accompanied by personal emails to these backers with the USPS tracking numbers. We have started receiving acknowledgements from many backers that they have received the Snugs and that they can't wait to use them. We are super excited too and can't wait to get your feedback.

Special thanks to our daughter Siyona, who helped us pack hundreds of these and attach address labels while we were printing them!

ChopTainers Have Left The Factory : )

Dear ChopTainer Backers,

We are very excited today as we receive pictures of the ChopTainers all ready, loaded and leaving to be stuffed in a 40 foot container heading for the port in China, destined for Long Beach, California. We had to do special packaging (with special UPC or barcodes) for all of our Kickstarter backers as they will be heading to the Amazon warehouses in order to ship to you.

We will update you as soon as the cargo ship docks in California and the cargo clears U.S. Customs (which is a process in itself), which should be around Jan 15th-20th. It shouldn't take a lot of time after that to start shipping to all you wonderful people.

Snugs have started shipping to our US backers.

Dear ChopTainer Backers,

This is to inform you that today, we have started shipping Snug Utensil Clips to all our US backers who have opted for the ChopTainer reward tiers with Snugs. We are also sending tracking numbers for the packages for your convenience. Since we are sorting, packing, creating labels and shipping these ourselves, it might take a few days to ship these as there are hundreds of packages.

We would like to thank our international backers for supporting this idea of early shipping of Snugs domestically. We will send out an update when we start shipping internationally.

ChopTainer Production Almost Complete. Shipping From China Soon.

Yayy ChopTainer Backers!

We have received word from our factory that they are very close to finishing production and the ChopTainers should be ready to be packed and boxed and put on pallets, ready to ship [Container Load] via sea, hopefully sometime next week.

We also received random samples from production for Quality check and they look amazing!

We will update you when the container has set sail from China for the U.S. shores.
